Website design and development, built to be found

Almost every enquiry we get starts with “how much for a website.” It is the wrong first question. The right one is whether anybody will ever find it — in Google, and now in ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, where a growing share of buyers start looking.

The problem

The cheapest website is the one nobody finds.

A website that costs forty thousand rupees and brings no enquiries is not cheap. It cost forty thousand rupees and produced nothing, which makes it the most expensive option on the table. The template site, the page-builder site and the cousin-who-does-websites site all fail in the same way: they look acceptable and they are invisible.

Here is what has changed, and it is the part most businesses have not caught up with. Buyers no longer only type keywords into Google. They ask an assistant — which company can build a CRM and run ads for my travel business in Kolkata — and the assistant answers with two or three names. If your site is not structured so a machine can read it, understand what you do, and quote you accurately, you are not in that answer. Your design has nothing to do with it.

Meanwhile the old problems have not gone anywhere. Sites load slowly on the mobile connections most Indian traffic arrives on. Markup is messy, so search engines struggle to work out what the page is about. And the contact form emails an inbox that one person checks occasionally, so the few enquiries that do arrive quietly expire.

What we do

Designed for people. Structured for Google. Readable by AI.

Design and UI/UX

Built around the decision your visitor is making, not decorated around stock photography. Every page has one job and says what it is.

Google-friendly technical build

Clean semantic markup, correct heading structure, crawlable links, fast server response and a sitemap that is actually accurate. The foundations that cap everything else.

AI-readable structure

Schema markup for your organisation, services and products, plus FAQ blocks that answer questions in a form an assistant can extract and cite. This is the part almost nobody in this market is doing yet.

Answer-first content

Each page answers its central question in the first hundred words. Better for a reader in a hurry, and it is the exact format retrieval systems select passages from.

Speed and Core Web Vitals

Measured on real mobile devices and real connections rather than a developer's laptop on fibre. Speed is not a technical detail; it is revenue.

Accessibility

Contrast, keyboard navigation, focus states and reduced-motion support. Legally sensible, better for everyone, and machine-readable as a side effect.

Landing pages that match the ad

A page per campaign, destination or offer, so paid traffic does not arrive on a homepage covering nine things and start its search again.

Migration and redirects

URL inventory, mapped redirects and Search Console data preserved before anything changes. This is where redesigns silently lose years of rankings.

How we work

How a site gets built.

01

Research

What the site has to do, who decides, and what the existing site's Search Console data already proves. We start from evidence rather than from a moodboard.

02

Design

Structure and interface designed against your real content. Designing around placeholder text hides most of the problems until it is expensive to fix them.

03

Build

Performance, semantics and structured data treated as constraints during development, not as an optimisation pass bolted on at the end.

04

Run

Launch, redirect monitoring, analytics, and continued iteration against how the site actually performs — including whether AI assistants start citing it.

Evidence

Check our numbers yourself.

Speed, Core Web Vitals and accessibility are objective and publicly verifiable — you can run PageSpeed Insights on any site we build, on launch day, without asking us. That is deliberate. Conversion improvements are reported against a stated baseline period with the analytics source named, rather than as a headline percentage with no context.

Questions

Common questions.

How much does a website cost?

Less than it costs to have one nobody finds, which is the comparison that actually matters.

We do not publish a price because scope varies enormously, and a fixed number quoted before understanding what the site has to do is a guess somebody eventually pays for. What we will do on the first call is tell you honestly whether your budget is realistic for what you are describing, including when it is not.

What does an AI-friendly website actually mean?

It means a machine can read your site, work out what your business does, and quote it accurately when somebody asks a relevant question.

In practice that is: clean semantic HTML rather than a wall of nested divs; schema markup declaring your organisation, services and locations; content that answers questions directly instead of burying the answer in the fourth paragraph; consistent facts about your business across the web; and pages that render without waiting on heavy JavaScript. Most of it overlaps with good SEO. Some of it is genuinely new.

Why does this matter more than it used to?

Because a large share of searches now end without anyone clicking a website at all. The answer appears on the results page or inside an assistant, and only the two or three sources it cites get any benefit.

Analyses of large keyword sets have measured click-through to the top result falling sharply where an AI summary appears. Ranking first is no longer the same as being found, and the overlap between Google's top ten and what assistants actually cite is much smaller than most people assume.

Can you just make it look good and keep it cheap?

We can make it look good. We cannot make it cheap and effective at the same time, and we would rather say so than take the money.

If budget is genuinely tight, the honest advice is to build fewer pages properly rather than many pages badly. A five-page site that is fast, structured and findable will outperform a twenty-page template every time.

Do you build on WordPress?

Sometimes, when your team needs it and the site is content-led. But a heavy page-builder stack is the reason many sites are slow and difficult to optimise, and it is expensive to undo later. For most business sites we recommend a modern static or server-rendered build with a structured CMS, which is faster and cheaper to run.

Will a redesign hurt our search rankings?

It can, badly, and it is the most common way an established site loses its traffic. It is preventable with a full URL inventory, a mapped redirect plan and Search Console data exported before anything changes. We do this as standard, and it is worth asking any agency whether they will.

Will we be able to edit it ourselves?

Yes, through a CMS with structured fields. You can change content, add pages and publish. You cannot accidentally break the layout, which is deliberate.

Do you write the content?

[CONTENT TO VERIFY — confirm whether copywriting is included as standard or scoped separately.] We will always tell you where the existing content, rather than the design, is the thing holding the site back.

Would an AI recommend you right now?

Ask ChatGPT or Perplexity who does what you do in your city, and see whether your name comes up. Then tell us what it said.
